Job Summary: Our Clinical Directors provide leadership and organizational management by overseeing all therapeutic services and client programs in their center. They foster the long-term development and growth of the clinical programming of the company and guide all center staff members in their professional growth. Job Duties: Maintain a caseload of clients across all aspects of treatment including intake, assessment, case conceptualization and treatment planning, intervention, data-based outcome evaluation, treatment plan revision, report writing, parent training, and post-service transition. Provide and oversee training, supervision, and feedback for BCBAs, BCBA/BCaBA candidates, and behavior technicians Create, implement, and train staff on new techniques, program-specific policies, and procedures Collaborate with other clinicians and staff including BCBAs, behavior technicians, Occupational Therapists and Speech Language Pathologists to coordinate the therapy of clients Conduct interviews and provide feedback on candidates for open positions Interface with insurance companies on behalf of clients to advocate for medically necessary treatment plans as needed Conduct and attend team and management meetings as scheduled Attend professional development opportunities Maintain strict client confidentiality according to HIPAA protocol Maintain open communication with families and clinical team to ensure the most effective treatment and goals Other job-related duties and responsibilities assigned by the CEO Required Qualifications: Master's Degree in Applied Behavior Analysis, Psychology, Special Education or related field required BCBA Certification from the Behavior Analyst Certification Board required Licensed to practice ABA therapy in the state of Virginia required (or willingness to obtain license upon hire) 5+ years of BCBA experience supervising behavior technicians in providing ABA therapy to children with autism required 5+ years of demonstrated managerial and training experience required BLS Certification (or willingness to complete training and exam upon hire) Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel) Ability to be on-site from 8:30am-5:30pm Monday through Friday required Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license Must submit to a federal and state background check Preferred Qualifications: Enthusiasm and excitement to build a strong clinical team that delivers the highest quality ABA therapy to clients Exceptional ability in building trusting relationships and maintaining confidentiality Excellent judgment Excellent written and oral communication skills Eagerness to learn and pursue professional development and provide knowledge-sharing with others Strong knowledge of ABA principles Strong leadership and management qualities Strong collaboration capabilities with other clinicians and leadership Strong organizational, time-management, and problem-solving skills Flexibility in a changing day-to-day schedule Ability to multi-task and manage time effectively Ability to manage difficult situations with patience and in a calm manner Physical Requirements: Ability to sit on the floor, kneel, crawl, bend, squat or stand for extended periods of time Ability to bend, reach, and hold objects Ability to lift 30 pounds Benefits: Health, Vision, and Dental coverage through CareFirst BCBS Bonuses based on individual and company performance CEU assistance and professional development opportunities 3 weeks of paid time off plus 9 paid holidays Paid Basic Life Support training and certification Note: This position is not eligible for Visa sponsorship.
