Role Summary: Works to implement complex system enhancements in area of responsibility to improve system efficiency or reduce errors. May directly support larger, cross functional projects. Translates business requirements into functional specifications, creates & executes relevant test plans to ensure solution delivered meets needs and coordinates testing efforts with business user groups . Ensures technology systems are compliant with laws and regulations across jurisdictions. Responsibilities: Identifies and proposes improvements to financial systems using knowledge of systems capabilities, industry knowledge, and understanding of T. Rowe Price business processes. Translates business requirements into functional specifications. Implements complex system improvements in assigned area to improve system efficiency or manual processes to reduce errors and mitigate risks. Leverages knowledge of solutions and business processes to provide end user with initial level of support before involving information technology group. Reviews system usage findings and refines/recommends process improvements to more senior professionals. Reviews ongoing system maintenance reports to address system vulnerabilities or data issues and reviews/finalizes financial systems reporting. Participates in monthly and quarterly reporting for finance teams. Proactively identifies process improvements for assigned financial systems. Provides escalated assistance to end users; escalates most complex end user issues to more senior professionals or managers. Acts as a liaison between technology and the finance organizations on projects to articulate business requirements and ensure the project is well-defined and will deliver the stated business value and outcomes. Ensures that systems are properly integrated, aligned with Technology processes/standards, and in compliance with laws and regulations across jurisdictions. Typical Qualifications: Bachelor's degree or the equivalent combination of education and relevant experience 5+ years of total relevant work experience Demonstrated success managing specific projects independently or specific work streams of large-scale initiative Preferred Qualifications : Excellent verbal and written communication skills Excellent interpersonal communication and organizational skills Ability to translate and simplify complex business and technical concepts into business requirements High level of analytical and problem-solving skills ERP experience preferably Oracle Financials Knowledge of accounting principles Advanced Degree or certification (MBA, CPA, CMA or MSF) PMP certification or relevant Project Management training Regional Requirements: FINRA licenses are not required and will not be supported for this role.
