Northrop Grumman Mission Systems is seeking an experienced University Relations & Recruiting Talent Acquisition Business Partner to join our Talent Acquisition (TA) team to help support the execution of our campus recruitment programs for our Mission Systems sector. Virtual position may be filled in any US State and selection will be based on candidate most qualified.As a member of the Mission Systems UR&R team, you will perform full lifecycle recruiting and work in a dynamic environment, demonstrating flexibility and creativity. You will guide applicants through the recruiting process and use effective techniques to close the deal. You will use thought leadership when working with hiring teams and demonstrate strong oral communications skills.There may be up to 25% travel in support of the business.We are looking for recruiters who are not afraid to leverage the power of talent market intelligence/research to drive strategic, effective and innovative sourcing strategies that ultimately support our mission. If so, you could support a broad customer base in a highly complex, technical environment.In this role you will:*Manage full life cycle recruitment for regional and site specific college and intern hiring requisitions.*Collaborate with Enterprise and Sector UR&R to create talent strategies and participate and attend events at focus Universities.*Act as TA lead at campus and conference events to identify top candidates, support hiring managers and facilitate streamlined hiring decisions*Proactively conduct targeted searches for top talent at our focus Universities.*Develop creative strategies to identify, attract and hire top candidates in a timely fashion and share best practices with team members.*Leverage on campus efforts to generate a diverse candidate pool for regional and site specific hiring events.*Maintain ongoing contact with top college and intern talent from focus universities and update candidate activity in the applicant tracking system (ATS) to ensure data integrity.*Partner with our Intern and Professional Development Program (PDP) team members to ensure streamlined and positive candidate experience.*Ensure a diverse pipeline of talent into entry level and intern roles including engagement with student organizations and attendance at diversity conferences.*Develop and analyze UR&R metrics.*Develop and implement process improvements that drive operating excellence.*Conduct candidate screens of top talent from our focus Universities*Drive the recruiting process to include: partnering with hiring managers to write compelling job descriptions, ensuring proper classification and level, source and screen candidates, conduct/coordinate interviews, make recommendations to hiring managers and work with partners and support staff to extend offers, driving negotiations as needed.Successful candidates will have exposure to the college recruiting space and display the ability to consult with all levels of internal and external customers, including students and University partners, Hiring Managers and various levels of leadership.Our recruiters push the boundaries of possibilities. If you've been looking for your next career move and wanting an organization where you have freedom to innovate, grow and fully leverage your recruiting acumen, then apply today!Basic Qualifications:* Bachelor's degree and a minimum of 6+ years of experience in a recruiting (technology) or sourcing recruiting role (agency or corporate) with an emphasis on lead generation, candidate quality, and client management OR Masters and 4 years relevant experience.* US Citizenship required* Effective customer service and interpersonal communication skills* Successful demonstration of full-life cycle staffing experience* Active in the Social Digital and recruitment arena* Ability to define and implement research and sourcing strategies for critical positions* Technical industry knowledge with the ability to understand relevant skills, target companies and user groups* Able and open to occasional travel around the region to assist with events, and in support of the businessPreferred Qualifications:* Background in URR recruiting* Excellent planning and organizational skills; able to manage multiple high priority projects effectively in a high volume, fast-paced service environment* Self-directed, excellent customer service skills and results orientation* Experience with server-based applicant tracking systems, ideally Workday* Prefer experience developing competitive market intelligence for talent* Demonstrate a strong understanding of OFCCP process compliance* Ability to demonstrate effective ways to build talent pipelines and tactical research* Knowledge of alternative search techniques to find and engage passive candidates Salary Range: 76000 - 114000 Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
