Position Description: Provide guidance to systems owners for compliance with configuration standards and policies. Provide emerging technology analysis and trend reporting to CTS designated recipients. Provide Cloud, wireless, and mobile security expertise, device assessment, vulnerability analysis, and risk mitigation services. Research and formulate open source software innovations integration in support of network modernization efforts using industry best practices for cost efficiency solutions. Provide technical expertise and customer perspective on policy changes to policy working groups. Facilitate the adoption of cyber and technological security solutions developed by CTS. Coordinate Enterprise-wide Common Control Documentation and provide technical expertise as needed to partners on proper implementation of NIST Common Controls. Basic Qualifications - To be considered for this position, you must minimally meet the knowledge, skills, and abilities listed below: Bachelor's Degree and a minimum of 10 years' experience required. An additional 6 years of experience may be substituted in lieu of a degree. Active Top Secret security clearance is required with the ability to obtain SCI. Has skills and expertise to design and define system architecture for new or existing complex computer systems and determine systems specifications, input/output processes, and working parameters for hardware/software compatibility and maintenance of system security. Proven ability to develop and recommend corrective actions. Proficient in providing technical guidance for database administrators and software developers. Preferred Qualifications - Candidates with these preferred skills will be given preferential consideration: Possess CASP+ CE, CCISO, CISM, CySA+, GSEC, Security+ CE, or similar certification.
