Job Description Minimum Required Experiences 6 years Desired Experiences Bachelor degree or equivalent THE IMPACT YOU WILL MAKE The Cloud Infrastructure - Technology Engineering - Advisor role will offer you the flexibility to make each day your own, while working alongside people who care so that you can deliver on the following responsibilities: As a valued contributor to our team, you will apply your extensive knowledge of principles, advanced techniques, and theories to the design and development of information technology (IT) infrastructure environments, including coding, testing, and certifying technology platforms, software, and applications. You'll provide technical direction to the team and solutions to technical business problems. Qualifications THE EXPERIENCE YOU BRING TO THE TEAM Apply your extensive knowledge of principles and advanced techniques to develop solutions for application design and IT infrastructure components. Understand the end-to-end performance of IT platforms. Establish and maintain policies, guidelines, and standard operating procedures. Monitor performance and capacity metrics for technology solutions while identifying and developing plans to address long term trends or issues. Skills: One or more AWS related certifications required Prior experience leading team in Industry Standard Best Practices and Cloud Transformation and Containerizing applications Demonstrated ability as an engineering Subject Matter Expert (SME) to negotiate, partner with, resolve conflict and influence stakeholders towards Cloud adoption Prior experience using Kubernetes platform and tools strongly preferred At the highest level of technical complexity, design and verify the technology solutions meeting business and technical requirements and in compliance with enterprise architecture guidelines, technology standards and methodology, and compliance and security standard Adept at managing project plans, resources, and people to ensure successful project completion Working with people with different functional expertise respectfully and cooperatively to work towards a common goal Experience in customer engagement and identifying resources to meet the defined platform objectives Experience helping an organization to plan and manage change in effort to meet strategic objectives Excellent inter-personal skills and solid experience leading a team of software/cloud engineers. Strong ability to mentor/coach team members as well as experience in influencing senior leadership Strong problem solving, analytical and stakeholder management skills. Ability to communicate effectively in both technical and non-technical environment. Technologies: Solid experience in AWS CloudFormation, AWS ECS Fargate, AWS EC2, ALB, VPC, S3 and similar technologies Solid experience designing and implementing container (Docker) solutions on Amazon ECS or Kubernetes Experience in implementing DevOps practices and CI/CD automations for complex applications Experience with Infrastructure Automation, Infrastructure Capacity Monitoring and Automated Scaling and Resiliency solutions Solid experience with Infrastructure as Code/automation technologies (CloudFormation /Terraform/Puppet/Chef/Ansible) Software Development experience with Backend API development, preferably in the Java Spring stack, and some Frontend development experience, preferably with Angular UI Skilled in Operations in AWS environment REF7336A Additional Information The future is what you make it to be.
