The Email Campaign Manager is responsible for managing email marketing campaigns to drive school enrollments and retain existing customers. This role will help p define the campaign strategy and roadmap, drive the email optimization, define and analyze test plans, and manage the email execution process and impact performance rates. The Email Campaign Manager works to ensure the team meets deliverables and is aligned with overall strategy of the business. Helps define the email strategy and roadmap, with a focus on customer segmentation, lifecycle, conversion and retention campaigns; Provides input on strategies for implementation to achieve marketing program/project goals; Creates and manages execution of email marketing campaigns that are aligned with overall marketing strategies aimed at driving conversions and retaining existing families; Creates and manages the email schedule for execution of the lead nurture, engagement, and retention; Works with team to outline email campaign requirements including content, templates, sequencing, cadence and trigger elements for both automated series and manual/batch and send email; Contributes and assists in implementation of lead nurturing and automated email marketing campaigns; Works with team to facilitate implementation of the email campaign process which includes scheduling and planning, creative development, set-up, review, quality assurance, deployment and reporting. Helps define the learning agenda and develops and implements the test plans with a disciplined approach to continually optimize email campaign performance via aggressive testing methodologies; Works closely with Creative team to proactively drive development of creative and messaging to continually improve email performance; Works with Analytics team to proactively track, monitor, analyze, and report on campaign performance on a regular basis; Seeks new ideas, monitors industry trends gathers and recommends best practices to innovate our email campaigns; Supervisory Responsibilities: This position may supervise 1-4 Full-time Equivalent (FTE) regular employees and/or contractors. Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems. Minimum Required Qualifications: BS/BA Degree in Business or Marketing or relevant field AND 5 years of experience in email marketing in education, or multi line business model OR Equivalent combination of education and experience Certificates and Licenses: None required. OTHER REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS: Experience defining email strategy and requirements for triggered email campaigns Proven record of effective project management and organization skills Proven track record of tackling problems and taking independent action; ability to generate new ideas Hands on experience executing email campaigns Experience with Salesforce Marketing Cloud and knowledge of Salesforce Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, , etc.); Web proficiency Ability to pass required background check Ability to travel 10% of the time (minimal if any) Desired Qualifications: Management experience Prior experience in Direct Marketing, Writing, and/or Editing is a plus Basic understanding of HTML Work Environment: The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an employee encounters while performing the essential functions of this job.
