The Mortgage Incentive Business Analyst will assist with the timely and accurate process of calculating incentive/commission payments within the mortgage division on multiple incentive plans. This includes assisting with data analysis, reporting, and incentive payment communication. Assist with the calculations for incentive payments (monthly, quarterly and annual) for business units according to compensation plans and internal policies, ensuring incentive/commission and bonus calculations are done accurately and in a timely manner. Provide support with incentive payment audits. Assist with creating and distributing monthly pay statements for each employee receiving incentives as needed. Assist with onboarding tasks for new hire candidates. Provide recommendations related to business reporting controls to promote continuous improvement of processes and compliance within the mortgage business unit. Provide key cost and data analytics to assist with the annual budgeting process. Engage with other departments within the credit union to deliver on action plans and requests. Monitor quality of business reports to ensure accurate payments to employees. Identify risk trends and opportunities to minimize future risk. Increase knowledge of the mortgage industry and recommend changes to benefit the credit union, members, and staff. Actively engage in continual departmental process improvement. Establish and maintain expert knowledge of key business processes within the assigned mortgage business unit. Build strong relationship with payroll partners. Participate in the development and distribution of comparative analyses and advanced metrics-based reporting. Qualifications Equivalent combination of education and experience is considered. Bachelor's Degree in Business or a related field is preferred. Profound working knowledge of Microsoft Office products with an emphasis on Excel, Power Point and Visio. Experience in mortgage processing/underwriting/closing and/or experience in mortgage lending, mortgage controls, risk, or audit preferable but not required. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Proven ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Proven ability to balance multiple priorities, adapt to constantly changing business environment, work independently, drive projects to completion while meeting deadlines in a fast-paced environment. Demonstrate abilities in problem -solving and analysis identifies issues, analyzes information to assess root cause and relationships, risks, and potential risk responses. Proven ability to synthesize complex data into concise recommendations and reports to senior management.
