We are seeking talented and enthusiastic individuals to engage with DC Medicaid Beneficiaries, providers, insurance companies, and pharmacies by serving as a primary contact for information. This is a 3-6 months contract.
  • You will work collaboratively with providers and staff as a liaison between Beneficiaries and other medical personnel.
  • Responsible for exceptional customer service by answering questions about claims status, next steps with services, and call backs.
  • Access claimant information
  • Update information
  • Respond to staff and beneficiary inquiries
  • Responsible to provide Beneficiaries with timely, accurate, and professional service, independently resolve issues and thoroughly document inquiries and outcomes.

Job Requirements

  • DC Residents Preferred
  • Two years of experience working in customer service (preferably in a healthcare, hospitality, call center or client service environment).
  • Excellent phone etiquette and interpersonal skills.
  • Word, Excel, & Outlook skills.
  • Ability to commit to a Monday - Friday schedule
  • Electronic Medical Records experience
  • Knowledge of insurance verification and authorization, managed care and other third party payers.
