Most importantly we take pride in creating memorable experiences for our residents, staff and the surrounding community.Responsibility:The dietary aide assists with preparing and serving meals as well as maintaining the dietary area in a clean, safe condition.Job Description and Duties:PreparationAssist with meal preparation.Portion and serve food according to established menu and diet orders.Prepare dining room prior to each meal.Assure resident meal trays are clean and contain the proper diet prior to leaving the kitchen and dining room.Follow tray cards.Deliver and pick up food carts in a timely manner.SanitationMaintain a clean, hazard-free work area and dining roomClear and wash dishes and pots.Act in compliance with federal and state sanitary regulations as well as facility infection control guidelines and dietary policies/procedures.Assist with storage and inventory of food supply and cleanliness of storage areas.Attend in-service training sessions, as assigned.Adheres to assigned cleaning list/duties.Assists with stock rotation.Keeps/maintains floor stock to units.Maintains hydration carts on units.Other Job DutiesPerform other duties, as assigned.Requirements and ConditionsQualifications:1. High school diploma or equivalent preferred.2. Experience with quantity food preparation.3. Able to understand and follow directions.4.
