Beacon Hill Financial is working with a growing non-profit located in DC to fill a Payroll & Compensation Analyst role! The payroll & compensation analyst will be responsible for: the full cycle of payroll, as well as; assisting in the overall design, development, and administration of compensation program! Duties and Responsibilities Conduct regular audits on payroll procedures and records. Process benefit payroll deductions and contributions and handle all required reporting and reconciliations. Process monthly billings from providers, review the billings for accuracy and approve for payment in a timely manner, as well as resolving discrepancies with vendors. Participates in the annual promotional, merit increase and discretionary bonus program development planning, implementation, and reporting. Assists in ongoing compensation administration activities to include equity reviews, promotions, job offers, job evaluations and other programs Conducts job evaluations and salary reviews based on market data and Korn Ferry Hay Group job evaluation methodology. Recommends job level assignments. Makes new hire and promotional offer recommendations. Manage the compensation related HRIS content. Provides support to management in writing job descriptions Maintain employee records in HR systems and conduct regular audits Produce scheduled and ad-hoc reports in response to data requests and HR/Payroll requirements. Preferred Skills and Experience: Strong Microsoft Office skills, including Outlook, PowerPoint and Excel Strong interpersonal and communication abilities; exceptional listening, written, and verbal skills Strong understanding of Human Resources best practices Bachelor's degree or actively pursuing 2-3 years of experience in Payroll and Compensation or relevant experience Prior experience with ADP Experience in employee benefits is a plus Human Resources or Payroll certificate (PHR, SHRM-CP, FPC, CPP) is preferred Intermediate level spreadsheet skills with the ability to analyze and audit data.
