This position is responsible for driving sales in the Washington DC and Baltimore Metropolitan Region. Our customer focus includes contractors, architects, engineers, consultants, government agencies and building owners.From day one, you will be provided a career path and in-depth training to rapidly progress in your knowledge of our sales process. This position is close to our head office and will include time in the office for hands on training. You will be calling on an existing well established customer base and responsible for growing that through networking and relationship building. This is not your typical cold calling sales position as we've already built a solid customer base and reputation, we just need you to learn how to close these.Day In The Life Visit construction sites to make product recommendations for waterproofing systems and concrete repair products.Presenting educational sales presentations to Architects and Engineers in their offices.Work with our distributors to sell our products to their network of contractors.Provide product demonstrations to contractors in their office and on construction sitesAttending industry networking events to make new connections and promote our brand.Job RequirementsOur sale reps come from various backgrounds and we have many successful reps that do not have sales or construction experience, so this is not a requirement, but a plus. We do find most of our top performers posses the following skills and abilities:Sales-minded and open to making contacts over the phone and through networkingPassion for people and developing sales relationshipsOutstanding communication (oral and written) and presentation skillsDriven and goal-orientedSelf-motivated and able to work independentlyExcellent time management and organizational skillsMust be a quick learnerDegree preferred though experience most important.
