Tyto Athene has over fifty years of experience supporting Federal State and Local Governments across the United States and around the globe.Tyto Government Solutions Inc is looking for an experienced Principal Engineer to provide advanced technical analysis support for a Government Program Management Office (PMO) at the Washington Navy Yard.Responsibilities:Work is 100% on government site location (no telework). Nominal travel requirements (5%) to various locations.Perform in a principal technical support role for Government PMO with emphasis on engineering and project management support functions.Provide multi-disciplinary technical support to the Engineer Manager and Test Manager. Items for review and contributions include Concept of Operations development, operational/functional requirements, system engineering & design oversight, platform interface and integration analyses, test & evaluation master planning, training, and lifecycle support planning & implementation.Interface between the PMO and various stakeholders, including Resource Sponsors, Technical Authorities, Design Agents, In-service Engineering Agents, and fleet support personnel to facilitate a technical review, concurrence, and approval.Review technical documentation including system operational manuals, certification plans, test reports, engineering change proposals (ECP), engineering trade studies, and presentations.Support program planning and execution efforts including milestone tracking, monthly technical reporting, and quality assurance of technical documentation.Review acquisition documentation including Statements of Work (SOW), requirement/specification documents, task execution plans, task statements, Plan of Action and Milestones (POA&Ms), and related documentation.Draft PMO technical documentation used to address critical technical and programmatic areas including training initiatives.Qualifications:Current active TOP SECRET clearance reported in DISS.Bachelor's degree in engineering or related technical discipline.Ten (10) or more years experience in support of DoD acquisition programs, project management support, systems analysis or systems engineering.Ability to multi-task in support of numerous projects with a demanding, dynamic workload. Extreme attention to detail and follow-through.Excellent communication skills (written and oral); able to effectively interact with customers, partners, and associates at all levels. Prepare and deliver presentations.High proficiency with MS Office Suite, web-based applications, and databases.Desired Skills/Education/Certifications: MS degree in management or technical discipline.Completion of applicable DAU coursework (DAWIA SPRDE Level II or III preferred).Former DoD (military or civilian) experience highly desirable.Equal Opportunity Employer: Disability/Veteran
