Individuals will be exposed to variety of emerging technologies and practices and will be expected to be learn quickly and collaborate within and across all agile teams.US Citizenship required to support this federal agency !Responsibilities:Support a cross-functional development team to deliver high-quality software.Support all disciplines within the software development lifecycle (eg, requirements, development, testing, continuous integration and deployment, operations support)Gauge time/development effort-level relationship, analyzing data, design and implementation of code efficientlyWork on backend security such as TLS and SSLPractice Test-Driven Development and automate all unit and integration testsPromote knowledge sharing by way of code reviews, documentation, pair programming, etc.Contribute to story task definitions and actively participate in scrum ritualsCollaborate efficiently with developers, business analysts, testers and other teams to ensure timely deliverablesUphold best practices by following and enforcing such standards across various technologiesQualifications:6+ years of experience required. Development in a Financial setting preferredBachelor's degree in Computer Science or related fieldExperience developing decoupled SpringBoot, Microservices, and RESTful API'sWorking knowledge of Java build tools, Spring, ORMs, CI/CD concepts, GIT, Typescript, and AngularExperience implementing backend securityStrong troubleshooting experience with capacity to identify root cause and resolve problems quicklyNaturally produce clean, well-documented, high quality code with minimal code smells, vulnerabilities, or bugsIND-1
