The role of the Content and Communications Specialist is to support AccelerEd's communications, engagement, and content marketing initiatives. Incumbent will support communication, thought leadership, and branding efforts that maximize the strategic goals of AccelerEd and support a positive brand experience and produce a wide range of content across all corporate channels. This includes working across teams to identify and publish content for a variety of digital platforms: our website, intranet, blogs, videos, creative campaigns, infographics, presentations, whitepapers, and more.RESPONSIBILITIES:Assist in the video, blog, and podcast production efforts including creation of content for all channels: internal communications, client communications, social media, our website, and more.Write, edit, and proof other content as needed to ensure consistency in quality, style, and brand voice across the businessAssist with creation of company blogs, including writing posts, curating posts from internal and external authors, updating the editorial calendar, formatting and publishing posts, and monitoring metrics.Advise on best practices for visual and digital content across channels.Develop short and long-form content for building thought leadership and engagement, including (but not limited to) blog and social posts, infographics, webinars, videos, interactive content, and more.Organize and maintain brand resources, photos, and digital assets, including keeping Brand Center up to date. Help ensure that assets produced are consistent, professional, engaging, and on-brand.Develop templates and resources to elevate staff presentations and materials, enabling self-service where possible.Manage campaigns that build engagement and foster a stronger culture for AccelerEd (ie, wellness, motivational, and recognition initiatives).Manage the following:Public-facing websitesTestimonials and project success storiesCorporate YouTube channelDevelop and maintain social media content:Manage content ideation and editorial calendar.Create, schedule, and track posts.Monitor trending stories, hashtags, and related content for thought leadership.Maintain and manage presence across LinkedIn, Twitter, Instagram, Facebook, etc. optimizing for growth and internal and external engagement.Set up and optimize company profiles within social media platforms.Coordinate internal and external creative partners as needed to support campaigns and projects underway. Sample projects include voiceover talent, graphics artists, videographers, and photographers to complete projects as assigned.Collaborate with project and team leads to enhance and share content.Work collaboratively across teams to coordinate project requests such as videos, print publications, photography, email campaigns, website design/content, landing pages, and more.Assist in scripting and storyboard concepts to create a concise, compelling message that aligns with AccelerEd's mission and brand.Perform other duties as assigned.MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS, KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Operations, Business Administration, or closely related field and 5 plus years of experience in the job offered.KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:Strong written and verbal communication skillsStrong organizational and interpersonal skillsStrong video editing and ability to create engaging contentStrong motivation and adaptability to learn and understand new concepts and marketsStrong interpersonal skills including courtesy, professionalism, and a cooperative attitudeAt least 5 years of marketing and communications experienceAbility to effectively prioritize and manage multiple tasks to meet aggressive deadlinesAbility to work both independently and in a team-oriented, collaborative environmentAbility to produce quality work products with attention to detailResponsive to feedbackDetail-oriented and preciseExperience developing education and outreach materialsProficiency in MS Office Applications (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, Excel) and editing software such as Adobe Premiere and AuditionDesign Skills with Photoshop, Illustrator a plus
