Education: High School Graduation or equivalent Minimum 2 year of experience in the construction industry knowledge in Air Conditioning, heating and ventilation is plus. Uses analytical and observation skills, which demon-strate the ability to organize and direct oneself. Must also be able to read and manipulate a blueprint. Must be capable of processing documents specific to heating and ventilation. Office and occasional jobsite.Job Requirements:DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES To plan, co-ordinate and control all activities related to making a job construction ready, to ensure all the work is completed as planned and all customer's deadlines and requirements are met. To ensure all operations are in conformance with the company's quality standards, procedures and systems. Plan to attend preconstruction and periodic site meetings to ensure that contract documents (plans/specs) are being fulfilled. Assist in maintaining an excellent working relationships and communications channels between Estimating, operations, and field departments. Optimize the productivity of our operations. Always strive to meet all deadlines and to keep all unplanned schedule changes down to a minimum. Review with the Project managers the details of the approved projects and to ensure a clear understanding of their requirements. Assist Project Manager in Investigating, analyzing, and identifying the root causes of problems encountered in the daily operations, working together with your staff and take the necessary corrective and preventive actions. Ensure that all required Quality Checks are completed according to the company policies and procedures to meet client requirements. Maintain and help with making an efficient File Management System and manage documents control (hard and soft copies) to ensure all paperwork is completed accurately and promptly. Communicate effectively with colleagues, other departments, and Client's staff, to inform as well as seek assistance from other department and administrative staff when needed. Assist in negotiating with suppliers to obtain best value for your clients and for the company when needed. Assist team with managing budgets and other project resources effectively. Assist and process design changes requested by the client and communicate these changes to the relevant parties. Assist with reviewing and approving project designs, materials and documentation requested by the construction team or management. Ensure that the construction documents are completed and ready for the construction team prior to construction being started. Assist the Project manager with registering quotes and project history. Create a Project Binder that contains the key documents as specified on the company's policies. Assist in managing coordination and controls the work for all awarded projects. Ensure the project team has the required inputs (documents, instructions, files, equipment, etc.) to perform the job efficiently and effectively. Prepare and submit all reports and documents promptly that are required by management and ensure all information is accurate and complete and filed in the project Binder.
