Peraton has a fulltime opportunity for a Senior Network Engineer responsible for evaluating hardware and software, troubleshooting, and handling of network related problems.Individual must be US Citizen with ability to obtain DoD related clearance as required by customer.This position may be remote with occsional travel (less than 10%)Provide technical expertise for performance and configuration of networks.Maintain development and test environment infrastructures to include cloud environments.Establish working relationship with customer infrastructure provider to work through infrastructure issues encountered by the engineering team.Advise network users of environment requirements, configurations, and limitations.Experience with virtualization/cloud-based technologies.AWS / Cloud based technologiesRequired QualificationsBachelor's (or equivalent) with 8+ yrs of experience, or a Master's with 6+ yrs of experience.Experience with virtualization/cloud-based technologies.AWS / Cloud based technologiesMust be able to design, engineer, and troubleshoot networks in a complex multi-vendor environmentDevelop configurations and implementing fix-actions to support the resolution of network-related issuesMust be able to implement configurations in support of technical refresh effortsMust be able to install and modify network components and other systems as required for life cycle tech refresh management to include physical and/or logical connections with any/all network devices/components as specifiedMust have extensive experience with the integration of new network solutionsTroubleshooting and implementation experience with technologies and protocols such as Cisco ACI, OSPF, BGP, Fabricpath, Spanning-Tree, and Virtual Port-ChannelCISSP or Security+ (or comparable).Individual must be US Citizen with ability to obtain DoD related clearance as required by customer.Desired QualificationsExperience working in an Agile Scrum team environment.Load Balancer experienceCCNA#LI-SJ1Peraton drives missions of consequence spanning the globe and extending to the farthest reaches of the galaxy.
