Job Summary/Company:

Sparks Group has partnered with a large retailer who is seeking a front desk administrator for a contract to hire role based in their headquarters in Arlington, Virginia. Our client's HQ is a fast paced, energetic environment and this role will have a great deal of interaction with managers of various departments. The ideal candidate must have strong customer service skills, a can do attitude and ability to assist with ad hoc tasks as required. This is a great opportunity for recent graduates and junior-level professionals to get their foot in the door with a large organization that offers tremendous growth potential!

Responsibilities:
  • Greet and assist visitors
  • Maintain visitor log, badges, and assist with all inquiries
  • Maintain a safe and clean reception area
  • Walk common spaces and document work order requests
  • Prepare and break down conference spaces
  • Oversee inventory to ensure kitchen, coffee areas, and supplies are fully stocked
  • Assist the facilities department with additional duties as assigned

Qualifications/Background Profile:
  • High school diploma required; college degree preferred
  • Strong proficiency in MS Office
  • Must have prior customer service experience
  • Prior office experience is preferred
  • Personable and professional demeanor
  • Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to multi-task
  • Ability to take direction
