Talent Acquisition Senior Specialist
WHAT YOU'LL DO Under the direction of the Talent Acquisition Senior Manager, you will support the complete life cycle of the North East Systems offices (Boston, New Jersey, New York, Philadelphia, Pittsburgh, and Washington, DC) Experienced Hire consulting staff recruiting efforts. This includes candidate pipeline development, candidate communication and relationship building, marketing and branding related activities, event planning and execution, planning and participating in the interview process, and all conversion activities. You will work with the North East office Recruiting Managing Director and Partners (RMDPs), North East office Recruiting Directors (RDs), local office Talent Acquisition team, and regional recruiting teams to lead and execute the annual recruiting pipeline across OneBCG, entry-level core business consulting (Associates and Consultants) from experienced hire pools, as well as support Experienced Hire, Digital, and Analytics recruiting efforts for the North East system offices. YOU'RE GOOD AT * Manage the local Experienced Hire recruiting process for the North East offices, including coordination of logistics (planning, correspondence, execution) of the recruiting process from marketing and events planning, through screening, interviewing and conversion * Cultivate relationships with candidates, following up with all inquiries while developing BCG presence and positive experiences * Articulate BCG value proposition via candidate interactions, networking events, professional networks, etc. * Ensure diversity, equity, and inclusion strategies and principles are incorporated throughout the steps in the hiring process, from pipeline development to conversion; recommend creative and results-oriented ideas to cultivate a diverse pipeline * Drive conversion activities for offerees * Staff events and interviews with the right mix of consulting staff, ensuring commitments are upheld; manage swap process * Adhere to annual budget for North East offices recruiting and internship activities * Ensure recruiting records, global database, and metrics are up to date and accurate; track, manage, and report on candidate pipelines through applicant tracking system * Use the database and other tools to manage data and generate correspondence, reports, interview and event invitations * Provide support as needed throughout the year for local office recruiting activities and efforts, such as the Associate and Consultant summer internship programs, Welcome Weekend, and other various recruiting events and conversion efforts * Affiliate and build a network with the local office Talent Acquisition team, including regularly attending team meetings * Collect and analyze information and data to evaluate the effectiveness of recruiting efforts, providing valuable input aimed at continuously improving our recruiting efforts; monitor and analyze the competitive environment * Lead and execute strategic projects as needed YOU BRING (EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS) Education and experience: * Bachelors degree or equivalent required * At least 3-4 years of full-cycle recruiting, HR, or relevant experience required. Prior professional services recruiting experience a plus. * Experience working successfully within a complex matrix structured organization * Flexibility and some travel required, particularly around peak recruiting season and planning weeks; Attendance at key evening and weekend events required Functional and soft skills: * High customer service and relationship orientation - strong interpersonal and communication skills, highly responsive, want to deliver great results at all times, able to develop effective working relationships with colleagues across the organization and candidates * Excellent time and project management skills. You have clear systems and composure to deal with multiple tasks at once, with a great attention to detail and accuracy, particularly when under pressure. * Organisational skills to assist with all the behind-the-scenes magic while providing creative solutions, driving our high-level customer service, and positively impacting our recruiting efforts. * A strong intellectual curiosity. You take initiative and are able to work independently, exercising judgment in managing confidential/sensitive information * Ability to work overtime during peak recruiting periods Technical skills: * Strong computer and database skills: Outlook, Word, Excel (preferred), and PowerPoint YOU'LL WORK WITH Youll be working with a closely knit team of Talent Acquisition members in the local office and across the North East system offices, reporting into the North East Talent Acquisition Senior Manager. Your main focus will be on supporting the Experienced Hire recruiting programs, and you will also support other local office recruiting activities. You'll work with the other Talent Acquisition team members in the local office and the North East system to back each other up and help each other out when things get extra busy or when someone is out of the office. The team is very collaborative and enjoys learning and mentoring each other. Your manager will be a great resource for support and trouble-shooting, and will provide developmental guidance and support as your grow your career at BCG. Youll work closely with your local office teams as well as various Talent Acquisition teams across North America.
