Wylander Solutions, a recruiting company specializing in the restoration industry, is hiring a Project Estimator for BYLT, an innovative and rapidly growing multi-million-dollar restoration company in Millersville, MD. BYLT is seeking a candidate who is experienced in insurance restoration reconstruction. The Project Estimator is responsible for performing detailed site inspections, documenting losses with accurate measurements, notes and photographs; estimating reconstruction costs of the entire project using Xactimate software; negotiating reconstruction costs with insurance carrier representatives; securing the project; communicating with the Production Manager on issues that will affect the project schedule and/or budget, and maintaining exceptional customer service. Compensation: Highly competitive base salary Project-based bonus plan Six figure earning potential Benefits: Employee-paid health benefit available Company vehicle to drive home, cell phone, laptop PTO & Paid Holidays Responsibilities: Meet with home and property owners to conduct onsite inspections, generate scopes, obtain agreement, and close opportunity Use Xactimate software to estimate residential and commercial reconstruction projects, following damage by water, fire, wind and mold Ensure all estimates comply with profitability and timeliness requirements set by the company Coordinate work with production team to ensure seamless transitions from estimate to project completion, for multiple jobs within the same time frame Ensure all jobs are updated in a timely manner in Xactimate, XactAnalysis, and DASH Negotiate supplemental contracts with adjusters Attend all mandatory company meetings to keep projects running smoothly Requirements: Relevant experience as an estimator, within the restoration/ construction industry Knowledge of reconstruction is a must Experience using Xactimate software Experience with Dash is a plus Knowledge of Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Word, Excel) Possess exceptional organizational and planning skills (detail-oriented person) Strong communication, negotiation, and stress management skills Must be able to undergo and pass a background check and have a clean driving record Keywords: Xactimate, construction, estimator
