Our client in Hunt Valley, MD is an Engineering company. They are looking for a Landscape Architect to join their team. We are seeking a full-time Landscape Architect with a minimum of 5 years' experience for an opening in Hunt Valley, MD. The successful candidate must possess a strong background in landscape design, land planning and computer implementation skills. Candidates should be technically proficient and passionate about their work, organized, and responsive to a collaborative design environment -Preparation of landscape plans in multiple jurisdictions -Create wide variety of land development projects through preparation of site layout, grading, stormwater management, and other related permit and construction plans -Research site materials, finishes, furnishings to support the full development of design concept renderings and be involved in all phases of the design process -Apply municipal ordinances and regulations to designs -Prepare documentation for design development and construction documents -Communicate project status to all appropriate parties -Occasionally travel to project/client sites to complete tasks or attend meeting -MD knowledge regarding permitting is highly preferred -Bachelor's degree in Landscape Architecture or a related field -Professional Landscape Architecture License desired (MD strongly preferred) -Strong organizational, technical and communication skills -Proficiency in AutoCAD, Civil 3D, Revit, SketchUp, or other design modeling software -Strong design and graphic sense with proficiency using Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator -Knowledge with Microsoft Office suite programs -Ability to establish and maintain positive working relationships with co-workers, project managers, supervisors, and other team members -Valid driver's license with demonstrated safe driving practices Job Requirements: -MD knowledge regarding permitting is highly preferred -Bachelor's degree in Landscape Architecture or a related field -Professional Landscape Architecture License desired (MD strongly preferred) -Strong organizational, technical and communication skills -Proficiency in AutoCAD, Civil 3D, Revit, SketchUp, or other design modeling software -Strong design and graphic sense with proficiency using Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator -Knowledge with Microsoft Office suite programs -Ability to establish and maintain positive working relationships with co-workers, project managers, supervisors, and other team members -Valid driver's license with demonstrated safe driving practices
