We believe that empowering everyone in a company to do what they think is best can lead to great things.As a Senior Product Marketing Manager for Customer Communications at Constructor, you will be responsible for telling the story of our product capabilities to our rapidly-expanding customer base, which include some of the largest brands in the world -- including Sephora and Backcountry.com.The goal of product marketing at Constructor is to effectively communicate the capabilities of our product to current and prospective customers, to understand the eCommerce search and discovery space and effectively convey our differentiation within this competitive landscape. The focus of this role is on customer-facing product communications, for which you will set the holistic strategy and tackle day-to-day execution. Reporting to the Head of Product, you will work most closely with product engineering teams and our customer success team, but will also interface with company executives as well as our sales and marketing teams.The primary metrics of success for this role will be the adoption of new features by our customer base, engagement with our product communications by our customers (in particular executive stakeholders) and finally and ultimately: retention of existing customers. Your work stream will be defined by the strategies you set, but will likely include a mix of release notes, product launch messaging, launch webinars, roadmap communication to inspire our executive stakeholders and materials to assist the customer success communicating benefit and onboarding of new features. You will also have responsibility to conduct competitive research to help inform product strategy and will share responsibility with product and marketing teams to enable our sales organization to win against competitors.RequirementsThe ideal candidate should have exceptional written and spoken communication abilities. These abilities should stem from a passion to learn from and communicate to different audiences: primarily various stakeholders at our customers but also other individuals across the organization at Constructor. Most importantly, you should crave the unique challenges and opportunities of a high-growth startup.Day-to-day you will:Participate in discussions with customer stakeholders to understand needs and how best to communicate our capabilities.Work with the product, engineering and marketing organizations to build out feature release materials, including release notes, blog posts and email announcements.Analyze product usage to understand how various personas and industries engage with our tool.Collaborate with product managers to track and drive adoption of new features across the customer base.Lead product sync-ups with the sales and customer success teams to review new releases and communicate our capabilities with crisp examples.Create communication materials to support the customer success team discussing new product capabilities.Research competing products to inform competitive positioning and prioritization of new features.Collaborate with the marketing team to draft white papers, blog posts and thought-leadership articles.Join sales calls to better understand how we communicate our product capabilities in current state to help shape our product marketing strategy..You would be a good fit if:You have experience in product marketing, product communications, or a mix of marketing and product management.You have an entrepreneurial bent and are looking to join a high-growth startup.You have exceptional communication abilities and take pride in your writing and presentation abilities.You are comfortable working from ambiguity to formulate and execute a plan.You value learning and want to accomplish great things in a collaborative environment.You have previous experience marketing a technical product.
