In everything we do, innovation and execution are always top of mind.We're looking for an employee benefits guru with street cred gained working with 100+ employee groups to deliver top-notch service to clients, and act as their day-to-day contact for troubleshooting issues and help making decisions that will take their business and people to the next level. Think of it this way: If this were a crime investigation television show, you'd be the person back at HQ with the weird glasses, a headset and lots of computer monitors doing all the things to make things go smoothly for the team out in the field.If you want in on that action, we want to talk to you.What You're Going To DoCollaborate and take direction from the Account Executive and other teammates to manage the growth of a designated book of business. That means handling marketing, claims, retention and account development.Coordinate procedures to generate benefit proposals, report quotes, submit new insurance applications, process renewals, and implement employer plan changes.Assist clients and coordinate with teammates to address billing, claims, service, enrollment, eligibility and plan design issues.Work with clients and carriers to resolve problems before and as they arise. Basically, we want you to keep an eye on things, make sure they stay on track, and if things start to veer off course, fix it. Don't wait to be told. Make Nike proud and just do it.Perform insurance policy, coverage and exposure analysis and recommendations for changes to coverage plans.Make sure client and carrier information in our database is accurate and up to date.Understand client needs and identify products and services to address them.Work collaboratively with teammates to ensure exceptional client service. One team, one dream is something we say a lot and we mean it.The Qualifications You NeedMinimum of 5 years experience in employee benefits.Demonstrated ability to collaborate with diverse individuals - teammates and clients alike.Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.Solid proficiency with high-level knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite. You need to know how to work in all of the programs, but Excel is especially important.A Michigan insurance license. You need to have one or be willing to get one.
