There are a variety of roles and responsibilities within this title. The types of roles available require troubleshooting, ensuring proper maintenance and operational status of equipment, using a variety of hand tools to set up, break down, adjust production line machinery, and performing other duties pertaining to hydraulics and pneumatics, all while making safety the number one priority. Maintenance requires being able to read manuals written in English and the ability to write and document information. While performing the duties of Maintenance, the employee is regularly exposed to wet and/or humid conditions with slippery surfaces; moving mechanical parts; fast paced warm/cool environment. Positions require standing the entire shift and the use of PPE is required in all areas of the facility. Principal Accountabilities Perform general machine repair without assistance Understand motor control and motor circuit repairs Utilize PM procedures for assigned machines Position may include: equipment troubleshooting, working with mechanical systems, pneumatics, hydraulics, plumbing, fabrication/welding, electrical/electronics, reliability and proactive maintenance, computer use Remain current with the latest technical information through a program of continuing education or advanced apprenticeship training Ensuring food safety and quality Cleanliness and housekeeping All other duties as requested by supervision. Required Qualifications Must be eligible to work in the United States without visa sponsorship Must be 18 years or older Ability to read/write/speak English 5 years previous industrial experience Strong knowledge of electrical systems Able to understand schematics and installation/operation manuals Previous industrial maintenance experience or equivalent schooling Knowledge/Demonstrated skills in the following: Fabrication, Electrical Systems, Reliability, Equipment Troubleshooting, Plumbing, Mechanical Systems, Pneumatic Systems, & Process Flow / Maintenance Systems The Maintenance Tech IIA must have any 5 of the following training/certifications: Electrical Systems, Fabrication, Reliability (Level 1 PdM tech), Equipment Troubleshooting, Mechanical Systems, Pneumatic Systems, Hydraulic, or Scale and Printer Repair Considered candidates will receive a phone call from a (952) area code.
