Luck Stone, Spotsylvania quarry is seeking a Surface Miner I who under supervision can perform a variety of tasks involved with the extraction, crushing, conveying, inventory and service of aggregate stone products, facilities and associated machinery while maintaining a clean and safe work environment.Position will operate a variey of heavy equipment including loader, excavator, haul truck and water truck. Previous experience necessary.Duties include:Pre-shift and post shift inspection of vehicle or plantIdentifying and reporting rode, high wall and equipment issuesOperating heavy equipment utilizing proper loading and/or dumping techniquesWillingness to assist with maintenance/project activities at crushing plant when neededCompetitive hourly pay (biweekly).
