As the Vice President of Accounting, you will be responsible for leading accounting activities and the enterprise consolidated financials.What You'll Get to Do:Lead, supervise and manage a team of Accounting professionals working in the areas of ledger maintenance, accounting systems setup and general accounting activities.Manage the corporate month-end close and consolidation process including analytical review of the monthly operating results to ensure accurate accounting records are maintained.Develop and maintain accounting information concerning income, expense, assets, liabilities, and capital in accordance with US GAAP. Provide financial information as a basis for management planning and decision making and for fulfilling financial reporting requirements.Prepare monthly financial reports for review by management and the Board of Directors, such as the Balance Sheet, Income and Expense Report, and Ratio Analysis.Collaborate with Financial Reporting and Technical Accounting on the implementation of new accounting standards and accounting for non-routine transactions.Oversee general accounting activities related to M&A including purchase accounting and integration of acquired entities.Act as the general ledger lead on all audit engagements including external auditor financial statement quarterly reviews and annual audit and DCAA incurred cost audits.Responsible for ensuring the company has efficient and robust reporting tools and capabilities.Implement, document and maintain adequate and effective processes and internal controls to improve the close and reporting cycles to ensure timely and accurate reporting.Coordinate and collaborate activities with other various organizations including SSC, Tax, and Operational Accounting to ensure that accounting matters are addressed in a timely basis.You'll Bring These Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business or related field15+ years of experience in Corporate Accounting and Consolidations10+ years of supervisory experienceAdept at using Deltek CostpointKnowledge of GAAP, accounting principles, auditing standards, SOX and industry best practices.These Qualifications Would Be Nice to Have:CPA strongly preferredProfessional experience in a government contracting environmentWhat We Can Offer You:We've been named a Best Place to Work by the Washington Post.Our employees value the flexibility at CACI that allows them to balance quality work and their personal lives.We offer competitive benefits and learning and development opportunities.We are mission-oriented and ever vigilant in aligning our solutions with the nation's highest priorities.For over 55 years, the principles of CACI's unique, character-based culture have been the driving force behind our success.Company Overview: At CACI, you will have the opportunity to make an immediate impact by providing information solutions and services in support of national security missions and government transformation for Intelligence, Defense, and Federal Civilian customers.
