Our Client has retained us to find them a VP of Acquisitions (multifamily & commercial) who will be based in the Arlington, VA area (relocation assistance provided). Our Client is a vertically integrated investment and asset management firm that provides value creation, diversification & capital preservation for its limited partners. Over the past few years they have successfully acquired and managed more than $500M worth of assets (over 1.5M SF acquired). Key details:* As VP of Acquisitions your team consists of the Co-Founder (primarily focused on Capital Markets) & an Acquisition Associate* Position based in Arlington, Monday-Thursday in office, Friday is a flex day* Historically, company has acquired 4-5 deals annually and is eager to increase those numbers* Responsible for full cycle acquisitions from sourcing through closing* Role will focus on value-add multifamily & commercial real estate along East Coast* Compensation includes market-driven base salary, acquisition bonuses and potentially the opportunity for promote Ideal candidate:* Has 5-7 years of acquisition experience and is currently an Associate/Senior Associate level who's ready for VP role* Has identified & closed acquisition opportunities in multiple geographic regions and asset types (Mid-Atlantic & Southeast)* Lives in the DC Metro/Arlington area or willing to relocate (some assistance provided)* Demonstrates a wide array of contacts within the real estate & finance industries with ability to deal directly with seasoned senior investment & CRE professionals
