An HR Administrative Assistant role in Gaithersburg, MD is now available through Adecco Medical and Science. In this role, you will support the Human Resources department and will act as the first point of contact for HR-related queries from employees and external partners. Your main administrative duties include maintaining personnel records, managing HR documents (eg employment records and onboarding guides) and updating internal databases. Our ideal candidate has experience with HR procedures and can juggle various administrative tasks in a timely manner. This is an indefinite contract role starting immediately. The work hours are Monday-Friday from 9:00am-5:00pm. Responsibilities Organize and maintain personnel records Update internal databases Prepare HR documents, like new hire guides Create regular reports and presentations on HR metrics (eg turnover rates) Answer employees' queries about HR-related issues Assist payroll department by providing relevant employee information (eg, leaves of absence, sick days and work schedules) Participate in HR projects Other job duties as assigned. Skills Verbal and written communication skills, attention to detail, customer service and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently and manage one's time. Proficient with computer applications, such as Microsoft Word and Excel. ADP proficiency preferred. Education/Experience: Bachelor's degree in relevant field or equivalent experience required. 1-2 years related experience required.
