CFC has a need for a Energy Industry Analyst in the CRG - Utility Research & Policy group. In this position you will have the opportunity to monitor and research and be a resource of industry knowledge and financing expertise in the areas of distributed energy resources, power markets, upstream and midstream energy markets, emerging market trends, and generation technologies that impact the energy industry, internal and external stakeholders and electric cooperative members. Expertise and knowledge will be used to identify areas where CFC can provide value with innovative financing products, solutions and strategies. As a Energy Industry Analyst, you will: * Monitor and conduct analysis of evolving industry and technology short and long term trends and developments and their impacts on the electric utility industry and electric cooperatives. * Prepare industry updates, case studies, whitepapers and other publications for internal and external dissemination. * Be a resource of industry intelligence for CFC and its stakeholders and works closely with industry partners on industry and technology analysis. * Promote CFC thought leadership and exposure at stakeholder meetings and industry conferences by presenting developed materials and publicly demonstrating industry knowledge and expertise. * Assist in developing and commercializing financing solutions in support of CFC's value plan. * Develop economic models and other related financial analysis tools relating to renewable project financing, levelized cost of energy for various generating technologies, comparable transactions and other diverse subject matters relating to the utility industry * Conduct analysis of various financing alternatives and project life-cycle pro-formas. * Manage products, projects and programs developed within CFC. Job Requirements: To be successful, you will need: * Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, economics, engineering, or related field. * 5 years of experience in electric utility industry, consulting, finance, banking, or economic research and analysis. * Experience in Excel spreadsheet modeling required. Experience with Business Intelligence software preferred. * MBA or other related advanced degree or certification(s) preferred.
