We are in professional search for a Vice President who would be responsible for the achievement key organization objectives, which include: Enhancing company's reputation for high quality design. Established profit objectives on all projects. Active pipeline of client work and, through effective management, avoiding potential financial and reputation losses associated with client dissatisfaction. Continually improving staff performance in terms of technical capability and production efficiency as these relate to employee satisfaction and company profit. Maintaining and improving quality control procedures as these relate to design, budget, and schedule objectives. This is not a remote position. In office is standard ASE policy. Essential Functions Participates in the development and evaluation of project goals for the office. Ensures project managers and other team members understand the direction and goals of ASE and the office. Ensures that employees comprehend and accept of goals and understand how they can contribute to the achievement of those goals. Builds relationships with present and prospective clients. Participates in proposal presentations and negotiations. Reviews and approves plans, programs, and budgets prepared by project managers, designers, and other employees working on projects. Counsels and supports project managers/employees in their execution of the projects. Promotes the adequate and proper utilization of the staff by project managers. Maintains frequent contacts with clients; debriefs and critiques project performance with team members. Ensures project managers prepare accurate job costing reports. 10) Periodically evaluates project managers' performance against the project operating plans, programs and budgets. 11) Evaluates performance of project managers and other team members and recommends appropriate actions to the President - Engineering (salary adjustment, bonus, promotion, layoff, training, disciplinary action, etc.). 12) Takes a leadership role in preparing proposals. 13) Leads presentations to clients. Requirements 15 years of experience and Bachelor's degree in engineering Experience in mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems, as well as CAD operations. Knowledge of LEED and/or certification PE certification required. Valid driver's license. Job Requirements: Solving a complex engineering problem Maintain a best-of-class engineering team Manage administrative functions within engineering Maintain abest-of-class engineering team Manage company engineering and related technical activities Lead product development team consisting of engineering and design talent Provide overall direction to engineering companywide Build, develop and manage engineering team capable of carrying out needed engineering initiatives Hire and coach a world class engineering team Assure achievement of accountabilities for all engineering disciplines Impact the capital budget since most engineering projects Work hands-on platform with the engineering teams Manage engineering personnel on new product development, modifications and product support for company core product Create a climate for effective commercial engineering innovation Develop, and manage the engineering team capable of carrying out the company's needed engineering function and initiatives Prepare the capital budget for engineering projects at the facility Motivate the technical engineering resources required to secure new business opportunities Emphasize quality and scalability of the engineering product while optimizing processes Implement pipeline engineering policies, methods and procedures Identify engineering solutions and implement permanent corrective actions
