Learning Content Specialist

CFC has a need for a Learning Content Specialist in the CRG - Events & Training group. In this position you will support the design, development, coordination, facilitation and delivery of large and small scale training events and special projects, with a particular focus on e-learning programs, technical manuals and performance support tools. As a Learning Content Specialist, you will: * Independently author and scope ILT, vILT, eLearning training courses and performance support tools from scripting to development utilizing input from SMEs. * Collaborate with instructional designers to generate digital assets for e-learning programs, including animated slides, diagrams, interactive exercises, and assessments using Adobe Captivate and other e-learning authoring tools. * Develop job aids and technical instructional manuals and content for financial analysis products and tools. * Facilitate and coordinate delivery of content across multiple platforms (on-site, remote and digital). * Create and administer learning plans, programs and courses within Adobe Captivate Prime or future Learning Management System (LMS). * Work with cross-functional stakeholders to determine and define enhancements to the LMS environment and work with vendors to implement potential improvements. * Manage user permission and member enrollment into the correct training curricula for a given product or learning path. * Develop, maintain and track all courses, materials and events within the LMS. * Define and develop progress reports for training market penetration and impact. * Maintain an advanced understanding of current trends in the learning & development industry. * Respond to training-related questions and support requests from our members. Job Requirements: To be successful, you will need: * Bachelor's degree in learning technology, education, communications or related field. * 5 years of e-learning technical writing experience OR content development experience in the utility industry. * Knowledge of electric utility industry and financial management concepts strongly preferred. * Familiarity with NASBA accreditation requirements desired. * Superior written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills. * Strong knowledge of traditional and modern training methods and techniques. * Intermediate knowledge of LMS and web delivery tools. * Strong project management skills. * Advanced MS office skills and experience with Adobe Creative Cloud Suite. * Proficiency with e-learning authoring tools.
