In conjunction with Sentient Digital, Inc , RDA Inc., which is a small Systems Engineering, Digital Signal Processing, and Software Development company that performs research and development and provides leading-edge technology to its customers is seeking a Software Engineer/Computer Scientist to support RDA's innovative product development and integration at our Warrenton Virginia facility. We specialize in Anti-Submarine Warfare system prototyping, research and development, acoustic analysis and digital acoustic enhancement. RDA has offices in Doylestown, PA, Warrenton, VA and Patuxent River, MD. Job Requirements: Duties and Responsibilities Design, develop, test, and support software for the US Navy in a Research & Development environment Develop and integrate digital signal processing software, algorithm design, and Operator-Machine Interface applications, each with a focus in ASW systems Support local software development, remote testing and integration, of software products Deliver effective reports and presentations to communicate progress and future direction to business and customer audiences REQUIRED/DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS & ADDITIONAL INFORMATION Bachelor's Degree in one or more of the following is required: Computer Science or Software Engineering; Electrical Engineering; Applied Mathematics or Physics; Underwater Acoustics. A post-graduate degree is a plus 3-5 years' experience in real-time systems and/or software design and development, including laboratory test and integration Experience with Java or C++ in a Microsoft Windows environment Experience with MATLAB, Python, GIT, and Agile is a plus The ability to obtain a US Security Clearance at the SECRET level for which the United States Government requires US Citizenship Occasional travel CONUS and OCONUS travel will be required Strong written and oral presentation skills, with knowledge of Microsoft Office products Ability to work independently and in a team Preferred Qualifications Experience with SONAR systems design and underwater acoustics data analysis Experience with MATLAB, Python, GIT, and Agile Additional Information RDA is an Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action employer.
