Preferred Knowledge/Skills: Relevant experience in cost accounting methods including, activity-based costing, unit costing, standard costing methods with variances and residual analysis Proven experience cost study design and oversight, including the use and maintenance of standard cost frameworks for the integration of cost studies with existing model methodologies Proven experience in a Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A) setting in Banking and Capital Markets, Asset Management and/or Insurance Demonstrated ability to run and update cost modeling systems (data, hierarchy, rules, etc.) supporting Standard and Forecast unit costs, variance reporting, cost maintenance, operational metrics and scorecards Demonstrated abilities and/or a proven record of success in the following areas: Understanding of the functionality of financial systems, such as Oracle (EPM Suite - PCMCS/EBPCS), SAP (PaPM), Workday (Adaptive Insights / Prism), Anaplan, OneStream, Tagetik, SAS ABM, MyABCM Understanding common issues facing clients in their industry from a performance measurement perspective Leveraging business intelligence tools (PowerBI, Tableau, Qlik) to support the reporting and monitoring of performance metrics Leveraging digital tools to manage data such as Alteryx, UI Path, Blue Prism among others Managing efforts with identifying and addressing client needs by building, maintaining, and utilizing networks of client relationships and community involvement; communicating value propositions; managing resource requirements, project workflow, budgets, billing and collections; and, preparing and/or coordinating complex written and verbal materials.
