Promotions Manager (Remote)
Mountain biking and trail based recreation has never been more popular than it is right now. Protecting, enhancing and developing trails nationwide requires enthusiastic, creative people wanting to help communities and partners succeed with their trail development aspirations.IMBA offers a variety of programs and services to communities to develop trails. The IMBA Promotions Manager, in partnership with program teams, is responsible for generating demand for these offerings. IMBA serves a range of individuals and organizations that are local advocates, stewards and champions for trails. IMBA Marketing helps serve their needs and attract more of them. The Promotional Manager is an important position that supports a range of internal stakeholders and departments, as well as external partners, requiring a strong and positive spirit of collaboration, excellent project management skills, agility and speed in executing promotional plans with others.Specific Job Duties/Responsibilities: Collaborate closely with all internal stakeholders and program leaders - predominantly with Communications which directs the story of trails, IMBA and our efficacy - then spanning all other departments:IMBA Local (grassroots organizations)Trail Solutions (trail planning, design and construction services for communities)EducationGovernment AffairsDevelop and execute promotional plans and direct marketing activities that drive target segments to engage with IMBA programs, services, and opportunities to support the mission. Design, manage, and execute campaigns through project management; and by leading copywriting, overseeing graphic design, supporting list segmentation planning, arranging virtual events, leading email marketing, developing digital toolkits, assessing performance related analytics, and managing various additional campaign components.Collaborate with and manage promotional partnerships with mountain bike and outdoor industry companies; with local, state and federal agencies; and more.
