The core mission of the Senior Account Executive is to maximize DIGARC's reputation and revenue generation within an assigned territory. Assign territory states include: New England, NY, NJ and PA. Responsible for building and executing on a territory plan; the successful contributor in this role will build and grow trusted relationships with clients and internal staff to support Company goals.How you'll make an impact: Prospect and secure initial discussions with new accounts.Follow up on leads generated through Company marketing activitiesQualify opportunities and build sales pipelinePresent and demonstrate strategic solutions to potential clients in a knowledgeable and compelling wayStay up-to-date on product capabilities, enhancements and road mapsParticipate in marketing and conference planning activitiesCommunicate with product team on prospect/market needs and trends in territoryUpdate and maintain accuracy of Salesforce informationTravel up to 40% may be required post-pandemicWhat you'll need to succeed: Powerful communication skills, verbal, written and presentation capabilities with both clients and leadershipAbility to lead sales-level product demonstrationsSelf-starter, resilient and results-drivenSuperior interpersonal skills with ability to build trust and encourage consensusHighly organized with outstanding attention to detailExceptional team player interested in working as a part of a highly coordinated, collaborative, focused organizationDemonstrated negotiation skills in developing, closing and managing dealsStrong demonstration of intellect, strategic insights, drive, executive presence and sales acumenDeadline-driven, comfortable working multiple campaigns and managing multiple deliverablesStrong computer literacy, including Salesforce and MS Office SuiteEducation and Experience:Bachelor's degree in Business or related discipline desired.Minimum of 5-8 years of proven relationship-based, consultative software sales, preferably experience in higher education technology, with strong record of success in exceeding quotaMinimum of 3 years of experience with Educational SoftwareIndividuals with Higher Education SIS, LMS and CRM sales backgrounds are preferredPhysical Demands and Work Environment:The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
