Responsibilities

This position is located within the Department of Administrative Services (DAS), ASO front office. This position is part of a small budget team that formulates and executes budgets for a number of information technology projects that are managed under ASO. Duties include, but are not limited to the following:
  • Supporting management in their ability to defend and acquire funding.
  • Providing technical and administrative support to the office by receiving and processing contractor invoices.
  • Contributing to the budget and reporting process and to the success of ASO.
  • Managing the procurement calendars across different portfolios to keep procurement actions on schedule.
  • Communicating orally and in writing, including using spreadsheet application's to analyze and organize data.
  • Performing other financial-related duties as assigned.

  • If appointed to a temporary position, management may have the discretion of converting the position to permanent depending upon funding and staffing allocation.


  • Qualifications

    Applicants must have demonstrated experience as listed below. This requirement is according to the AO Classification, Compensation, and Recruitment Systems which include interpretive guidance and reference to the OPM Operating Manual for Qualification Standards for General Schedule Positions.

    Specialized Experience : Applicants must have at least one full year (52 weeks) of specialized experience which is in or directly related to the line of work of this position. Specialized experience is demonstrated experience 1) supporting contract and financial management activities for ASO portfolios managing finance; and 2) providing technical and administrative support to the Office by receiving and processing contractor invoices.
