Duties SummaryThe Patient Support Services Department is seeking a Lead Medical Support Assistant who has experience working in a health care setting with direct contact with patients. The ideal candidate has experience using electronic medical records and appointment scheduling systems, creating staffing schedules and assigning work to staff, skilled at communicating information clearly verbally and in writing, has customer service experience, and the ability to anticipate and resolve problems. Provide on-the-job training to new and existing employees in accordance with established procedures and practices. Enter patient information in an electronic medical record and/or patient scheduling system. Monitor work performance and the quality of work. Create and modify staffing schedules as needed.
