DCS is seeking a Process Improvement specialist to help manage the definition, analysis, and implementation of process improvements in pursuit of operational excellence and the achievement of strategic objectives.

Essential Job Fuctions:

In this role, the Process Improvement specialist will partner with the Process Improvement Manager and leadership to ensure integration and alignment of the operational excellence process with business strategies and priorities. You will support the effective implementation of the performance evaluation, risk management, change management, internal audit, and corrective action processes. The Process Improvement specialist will be a member of the Aviation and Maritime Technology Division supporting all contractual needs to help improve processes. Analyze and implement CMMI processes in accordance with CMMI V2.0 and industry standards. Conduct Physical Process Audits on the organization.

Required Skills:

Due to the sensitivity of customer related requirements, U.S. Citizenship is required

A High School Diploma plus 10 years, an Associate's degree plus 4 years or a Bachelor's plus 2 years of experience is required.

2-5 years of professional experience.

Must have or be able to attain a DoD SECRET Security Clearance

Experience in Agile software lifecycle development and standards.

Experience using, Microsoft SharePoint, and Microsoft TFS/Azure DevOps.

Excellent interpersonal and communication (written and verbal) skills.

Strong listening, questioning, clarifying and summarizing skills.

Desired Skills:

Agile Software Development Process Management experience.

Knowledge of Capability Maturing Model Integration (CMMI).

CMMI V2.0 certified.

Experience with program management processes, standards & certification.
