  • Location:Holy Cross Health has two hospitals and four healthcare centers all a short driving distance from Washington DC and Baltimore, MD

  • Full-Time 8am-4:30pm (No Weekends)
  • Reporting to the Director of OB/GYN Clinic
  • Holy Cross has an opportunity for a Registered Nurse in our Outpatient OB/GYN Clinic. You would be responsible for assessing, planning, implementing and evaluating care of patients. The RN utilizes the nursing process by use of technology, therapeutic intervention, evidence-based practice and coordination of care with other health team members.

  • Serves as primary liaison between the Physician and patient
  • Assesses patient through triage calls and makes recommendations if an office visit is needed
  • Ensure that patients understand follow-up and understand referral information through patient education
  • Assist with in office Gynecological procedures
  • Coordinates care for high risk obstetrical patients
  • Follow up with patients regarding abnormal test results and schedules follow up visits

What you will need:

  • 1 year of Nursing Experience
  • Bilingual: Spanishis required
  • Current licensure by the Maryland State Board of Nursing or Compact State as a Registered Nurse.
  • BLS certification (American Heart Association); additional Life Support training as applicable to unit requirements.

  • Graduation from an accredited nursing program; basic professional nursing degree (BSN or MSN) preferred. Note, if the basic professional degree is not present on hire, the employee must engage in a basic professional nursing degree program within twelve (12) months of hire
