  • full-time (40 hrs, Mon-Fri)
  • Reporting to the Asst. Chief Nursing Officer
  • This nursing professional will be relied upon to create change in an environment that give you a lot of autonomy.
  • Mentor and train new nurses without having to give up your love of bedside nursing
  • Opportunity to work on various committees and represent your Division to the hospital at large.


  • Provides clinical expertise at the point of care manifesting a high level of expertise in the assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of the complex responses of individuals, families, or populations
  • Provides staff with current best-practice/research including the latest evidence supporting cost-effective, safe nursing practices
  • Case manages complex or difficult cases to manage costs and outcomes, and facilitates the transition of patients and families across the continuum of care.
  • Provides education to patients, families, and community appropriate to assessed needs.
  • Provides formal and informal education for nurses and other health professional and health professional students.

What you will need:


  • Current licensure by the Maryland State Board of Nursing or Compact State as a Registered Nurse.
  • BLS certification (American Heart Association); additional Life Support training as applicable to unit requirements.
  • Graduation from an accredited nursing program; MSN nursing degree
  • Minimum five (5) years related clinical experience.
  • National certification in clinical specialty required - must be acquired by the end of the probationary 6th month period to remain in the role.

  • Role certification preferred
  • Teaching experience preferred
