Description:

Under moderate supervision, the Central Services Technician 2 is responsible for decontamination, cleaning, processing, and sterilization of supplies and equipment dispensed by the department following established infection control practices. Able to accept new ideas and will assist in implementing them in the department. Actively engages in the department's performance improvement activities.
A Level 2 CSP technician is certified in sterile processing. They will maintain their IAHCSMM or CBSPD certification in accordance with departmental policy and will maintain their personal productivity at 95% or greater. -High School Diploma Required.
-(IAHCSMM) International Association of Healthcare Central Service Materiel Management certification OR (CBSPD) Certification Board Sterile Processing Distribution certification
