Adventist HealthCare White Oak Medical Assistant seeks to hire an experienced Administrative Assistant Secretary III who will embrace our mission to extend God's care through the ministry of physical, mental and spiritual healing.

As a Secretary III you will:
• Provides Resources needed for department to function efficiently.
• Seeks proactive solutions in problem solving.
• Produces professional reports and documents as well as transcribes accurate minutes.
• Prepares invoices for payment authorization and maintains records of department expenses.
• Seeks opportunities to improve effectiveness of department.
• Communicates with internal and external customers in a manner consistent with our values.
• Receives little instruction on day-to-day work and receives general instructions on new assignments
• Provides professional secretarial support to the Administrative Director.

Qualified candidates will possess:
• High School diploma or GED required with Associate's Degree in secretarial studies or equivalent preferred.
• Three to five years secretarial/medical secretarial experience in a hospital setting.
• Proficient in PC skills such as Outlook, Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint as well as KRONOS.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Excellent typing skills, public relation skills and evidence of good judgment required.

Work Schedule:

Monday-Friday; 7:30am - 4:00pm. Weekends and Holidays included on a needed basis
