Description:
Plans, performs and manages the full range of auditing procedures including analyses, appraisals, and evaluations of technology operations and activities, as well as other internal audit projects, individually or as part of a team; assesses the operating effectiveness of key controls; reviews transactions within accounting, human resources, instructional systems, and operating systems for fiscal and regulation compliance; conducts special investigations to ensure good stewardship of resources.
Qualifications:
Any combination of education and experience equivalent to a bachelor's degree in public administration, business administration, information technology, data management and analytics, or a related field, with major course work in accounting or finance. Five years of progressively more responsible professional experience in auditing or accounting. Current certification in one of the following or certification within one year of employment: certified information systems auditor (CISA), certified information system security professional (CISSP), certified information system manager (CISM). Secondary certification such as: certified public accountant (CPA), certified internal auditor (CIA), certified government audit professional (CGAP), certified fraud examiner (CFE).
