These roles require well-rounded journalists with experience curating and editing in a fast-paced newsroom environment. The ideal candidates must have strong news judgment, sharp headline- and alert-writing skills and the ability to respond quickly to breaking news. As part of the Emerging News Products Curation & Platforms team, candidates should be excited to work on new products and technology.

These editors will be expected to curate a balanced daily editorial package that highlights the most important and interesting news, including clear headlines and bold, thoughtful production that maximizes each story's visual impact. We are seeking someone grounded in journalism values who is comfortable multitasking and can think quickly and creatively about how to deliver journalism to new audiences on platforms such as Apple News, Facebook News and Snapchat. Copy editing or app experience is a plus. Night and weekend work is required.

Those interested should upload a résumé and cover letter explaining your strengths to our jobs portal by Oct. 22. The cover letter should be addressed to Curation & Platforms Editor Ben Pillow, Head of Mobile Strategy Coleen O'Lear, and Managing Editors Tracy Grant and Krissah Thompson.
