Job Summary/Company: Our client, a cable television channel, is looking for a diligent and personable contract HR Coordinator to join its team. This person will support recruiting and HR administration functions for the company.

Vaccination against COVID-19 is required for this position.
Responsibilities:
  • Posting and managing job requisitions, overseeing the workflow process, reviewing applications corporate, managing onboarding forms, preparing offer letters
  • Manage corporate resumes and act as the communication liaison between applicant and hiring manager
  • Manage corporate phone screens, schedule interviews, and organize candidate travel and logistics
  • Actively participate in expanding recruitment efforts and summer intern programs, including career fairs through on-site recruitment and/or event coordination
  • Prepare job postings, external advertisements, and internal postings as needed and maintain the career page
  • Create and maintain recruiting files for all positions (advertisements, job descriptions, and announcements)
  • Manage adverse letters as applicable for background checks
  • Maintain corporate personnel files, I-9's, E-verify
  • Process new hires into the payroll system
  • Conduct the new hire orientation for all new hires twice per month
  • Process HR vendor invoices and severance agreement payments
Qualifications/Background Profile:
  • BA or BS degree preferred
  • Minimum of 2 years' human resources and/or recruiting coordination experience
  • Previous experience with Taleo highly preferred
  • Strong organizational skills, excellent communications skills (written and verbal)
  • Proficiency within Microsoft Office programs
