White Oak Medical Center seeks to hire an experienced Pharmacy Manager who will embrace our mission to extend God's care through the ministry of physical, mental and spiritual healing.

The Pharmacy Manager oversees the day-to-day operations of the pharmacy department including but not limited to regulatory compliance, quality, safety, financial performance, and resource management.

These duties shall be carried out in accordance with all state and federal laws, Joint Commission standards, and departmental/AHC policies.

Responsible for the overall operational success of the department through development of departmental goals, standards, and objectives which directly support the System Pharmacy strategic plan.

This position reports directly to the System AVP of Pharmacy Services and indirectly to the Hospital Chief Medical Officer.

Develops, implements, and monitors procedures to maintain a safe, efficient, and effective workflow within the pharmacy.

Reviews departmental performance and ensures compliance with accreditation, quality assurance, legal, and other regulatory requirements.

Manages various personnel functions such as hiring, scheduling, training, performance development, staff engagement, coaching, rounding, conflict management, disciplinary actions and terminations.

Interfaces with medical, nursing, and other departments/staff members to address and resolve customer service issues.

In collaboration with AVP of Pharmacy services, prepares departmental budget and develops/monitors short- and long-term pharmacy goals.

Initiates, implements, and monitors continuous quality improvement projects.

Collects and trends data, prepares reports, answers correspondence, and compiles statistics for administrative, safety, clinical, financial, and quality/regulatory purposes.

Leads and/or participates in intra-and inter departmental committees and meetings as applicable.
