Summary

The MIL Corporation is seeking a Program Analysis, Associate to work with a Federal Client in Washington, DC.

Responsibilities
  • Assist with planning and execution of multiple aspects of the Annual Tripartite Consultations on Refugees (ATCR).
  • Manage planning, internal workflow, and execution of events to advance the ATCR's programmatic and organizational goals. Ensure that events are accessible and welcoming to all participants.
  • Ensure that the ATCR and WGR are well-organized, within budget, and meets the goals and expectations set forth by the U.S. as Chair, UNHCR, and other ATCR participants.
  • Interface regularly with U.S. government agencies, UNHCR, NGO and resettlement country partners in the planning of the ATCR and WGR. Keeps PRM staff and management apprised on progress during all stages of the planning process.
  • Attend and participate in ATCR and WGR planning meetings, takes meeting notes, and tracks to follow through on action items.
  • Prepare materials for the conference - signage, handouts, and web-based materials.
  • Develop and present proposals to help shape the Consultations and bring structure to the planning deliberations. Sets agendas and ensures that all relevant timelines are met and that the planning process stays on schedule.
  • Identify presenters and other subject matter experts to conduct sessions during the ATCR and WGR meetings.
  • Make recommendations on policy and procedural matters, including advocacy, capacity building, and operational support.

Required Qualifications

  • Exceptional analytical skills and problem-solving capabilities
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently
  • High caliber written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficient in time and resource management
  • Expert knowledge of computer software such as Adobe, Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Outlook, Word, Excel, Access, Publisher)
  • Knowledge of Federal program management policies and procedures
  • Knowledge of Federal assistance policies and procedures
  • Ability to analyze program data for use in evaluating proposals, negotiating award conditions, and monitoring recipient performance as well as preparing briefing materials
  • Demonstrated experience in management of Federal programs
  • Proficient in time and resource management
  • Knowledge of basic office management procedures
  • Expert knowledge of computer software suites such as Microsoft Office
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Demonstrated experience scheduling meetings, arranging conferences, and able to work within demanding rotational assignments
  • Some travel may be required
  • Per federal guidelines, ability to show proof of COVID-19 vaccination or obtain by January 18, 2021
