The Program Manager will perform day-to-day management to manage a service contract for the Defense Threat Reduction Agency's Chemical and Biological Directorate (DTRA RD-CB). The Program Manager will manage communications, social media, graphics, video production, and meeting and event services.

  • Manage and effectively execute tasks that require rapid response and cost effective, innovative communication products, and event planning and execution services.
  • Ensure that all work performed under the effort is coordinated through the COR and that adequate management solutions are implemented to track the status of current actions.
  • Ensure Alignment with RD-CB administrative procedures and processes and ensure strict governance, repeatable and reliable processes, and high quality services.
  • Incorporate best industry practices, implementation tools, and integrate quality control across every aspect of project management, include planning, execution, surveillance of work, acceptance, rejection, documentation, resolution of deficiencies, corrective actions, and project closeout.
  • Ensure all metrics required in this task order are collected and assessed.
  • Serves as the government's point of contact and provides technical supervision and guidance to all contractor personnel assigned to the program.
  • Coordinate the efforts of team members as well as subcontractors and contractor vendors, as applicable.
  • Speak on behalf of the company to interface with government Contracting Officer and/or Contracting Officer's Representative (COR) on all matters of the order, resource, and program management.
  • Responsible for program deliverables, including timely submissions of status reports and
  • management of funding/burn rate for surge support.
  • Develop, review, and approve plans, schedules, consulting agreements. and other program documents.
  • Participate in business development activities, including but not limited to preparation and review of technical and cost proposals.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant corporate and government policies and standards.
  • Prepare and provide various reports and technical reviews to senior management as requested.
  • Manage tradeshow participation.
  • Plan and execute virtual meetings.
  • Lead outreach initiatives to increase recognition of DTRA RD-CB.
  • Plan, organize, direct, and guide the activities of team members.
  • Carry out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with Chenega policies and applicable laws.
  • Other duties as assigned

  • Bachelor's degree required
  • Master's degree preferred
  • 10+ years of relative experience
  • Secret clearance required and be top secret eligible

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
  • Excellent written and verbal communications and customer service skills.
  • Up to 10% travel required.
  • Ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays required.
  • Ability to work independently and as a team member.
  • Ability to work shift work.
  • Ability to handle large, complex workload, effectively coordinate multiple resources, and multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
  • Knowledge and skill in applying analytical and evaluation methods and techniques.
  • Ability to handle controversial situations with tact and diplomacy.
  • Excellent PC skills.
  • Highly proficient in MS Office Suite.
  • Required to adhere to Chenega Corporation mandate that all employees must be fully vaccinated to COVID-19 by December 8, 2021.
