Senior Associate, Diversity Campus Recruiter

As part of Capital One's D&I Campus Recruiting team, you will be on a team specifically focused on driving our recruiting and sourcing pipelines for our diversity and early engagement initiatives. Campus Recruiting is a highly strategic and high-volume pipeline for Capital One that is continuing to grow.

As a member of this fast-paced, high-performing team, you will work to attract high-caliber diverse college students across the country to participate in early college career programs. They should be comfortable testing and learning different approaches to reach diverse candidates .

The ideal candidate for the position will be responsible for facilitating and driving early experiences with superior customer service skills, a high level of professionalism and willingness to handle all planning of the programming. These may include:
  • Use tools to track attendees and pull reports, taking feedback and making adjustments
  • Build, develop and deliver candidate communications, program content, and post-program engagement strategy
  • Manage internal and external relationships to support the development and scaling of programs
  • Utilize virtual tools to deliver exceptional candidate experience in the virtual environment and work with onsite venue and vendors when in person
  • Review invoices for accuracy and payments
  • Build relationships with candidates at a high-volume, understand their interest and passion and provide support
  • Execute early engagement experiences
  • Contribute collaboratively to the team and navigate and influence the organization; specifically partnering with External Affairs, Community Affairs, and other enterprise partners
  • Create and manage timelines and budgets
  • Work some evenings and weekends and travel up to 25% of the time
  • Contribute to ad-hoc projects


Basic Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree or military experience
  • At least 3 years of experience in Recruiting including full life cycle, research, and sourcing
  • At least 1 year of experience recruiting at Minority Serving Institutions (i.e. HBCUs, HSIs, Women's Colleges)
  • At least 1 year of experience in Client Management
  • At least 1 year of People Management experience


Preferred Qualifications:
  • At least 1 year of experience in Project Management
  • Demonstrated passion for diversity, equity, and belonging
  • Excellent communication skills and attention to detail
  • Proficiency in recruiting systems (Workday)
  • Ability to to think both operationally and strategically
  • Ability to to function in a complex, ambiguous environment with many stakeholders and priorities
  • Ability to drive clarity
