Adventist Healthcare seeks to hire an experienced CT Tech for our Radiology Department who will embrace our mission to extend God's care through the ministry of physical, mental and spiritual healing.

As a Radiology CT Tech you will:
• Performs CT examinations in accordance with the protocols established by the radiologists
• Demonstrates proficiency in operating CT-scanner and all ancillary equipment within CT department
• Understands principles and dangers involved in the administration of oral and intravenous contrast. Identifies contraindications to IV contrast administration and recognizes symptoms of IV contrast reactions.
• Properly identifies patients, reviews orders and selects scanning protocols in order to maximize quality and safe patient care in CT.
• Additionally, performs diagnostic x-rays in accordance with established protocol including portable exams when indicated

Qualified candidates will possess:
• Graduate of an AMA / JRCERT Accredited School of Radiography, ARRT Certification (RT)
• ARRT CT Advanced Certification (CT)
• Active Maryland license required
• Active American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
• One year of current CT/Xray experience in a hospital environment- preferred

Work Schedule:

1 Sunday's in a 4 week cycle, 1pm-9pm

Those testing positive are given the opportunity to re-apply in 90 days, if they can truthfully attest that they have not used any nicotine products in the past ninety (90) days and successfully pass follow-up testing.
