Westat is seeking a Dietary Coder to join the team. We are seeking an energetic, self-motivated professional who is dependable with excellent attention to detail and is deadline-driven. Coding involves reviewing and completing computer-generated dietary recall records, inputting intake data and assigning codes, and strong attention to detail.  

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
· Demonstrated attention to detail
· Excellent computer skills
· Communication skills

Minimum Qualifications
· Proficient in SurveyNet and other computer programs as needed.
· A High School Diploma or GED is required to apply
· Work is Monday through Friday with 40 hours per week
· Must have working knowledge of general recipes and their ingredients.

Preferred
· Be a frequent food shopper, in order to be up to date on the ever changing food market.
